C- Wearing fancy/ preppy clothing to represent the popular mean girl trait and stereotypes

L- Natural lighting as it is set in a school cafeteria. Makes the scene more relatable and recognisable.

A- Sitting down at the lunch tables and changing our facial expressions to represent the mood and state of mind our character is in whilst saying their lines.

M- No make up to represent school girls, but hair is done nice and neatly to show the preppy, spoiled girl aesthetic

P- Trays as our propps because we are in the canteen and a few drinks and snacks to eat but not much to represent how they are on a 'diet'

S- In a cafeteria, mimicking the clip.

-Regina:[intrigued] "Oh my gosh i love your bracelet where did you get it?" 

-Cady: [Flattered] "Oh my mom made it for me"

-Regina:[Nicely] "Totes adorbs"

-Gretchen:[Excited] "So Fetch!"

-Regina:[Annoyed and towards Gretchen] "What's fetch?"

-Gretchen:[Defensive] "Oh it's like slang... from.. England..!"

-[Regina rolls her eyes slightly frustrated]

-Karen:[Confused]"So if you're from Africa.. why are you white?"

-[Regina's eyes widen in shock]

-Gretchen:[Shocked] "Oh my gosh Karen you cant just ask people why they're white."

-Regina:[Slightly annoyed and leans in] "Could you give us some privacy for a second"

-Cady:"yeah sure" 

-[Cady turns to look at Janis and Damien]

-[Janis and Damien mouth] "What are you doing?"

-[Cady shrugs and turns back to face the plastics]

-Regina: "Just so you know, we don't usually do this so this is a big deal"

-Gretchen:[Happily]"We'd like to invite you to have lunch with us everyday for the rest of the week."

-Cady:[Worried] "oh no it's okay.."

-Regina:[Cuts her off]"Cool! So we'll see you tomorrow"

-[Cady looks concerned]

-Karen:[Giddy]"On Wednesdays we wear pink!"

RECREATION:

 

In our recreation we decided to do Mean girls, the scene when Cady (Raagni) first met The Plastics (Antonia, Laiyla, Olivia). We made sure to carefully watch the scene and pick out every camera shot and angle that was used and mimic it as best as we could. We also tried out best with the costumes as we didn't have exact replica's however we understood the message and mood that the characters Regina, Karen, Gretchen and Cady give and decided to make our costumes connote the same message which is that they are Popular, rich, and preppy girls. With the acting we studied the facial expressions and the emotion that was said with each line and mimicked it as best as we could as well as the body movements. During filming to make sure we got everything right, after every cut we rewatched the scene and retook the clip many times in order to get it right.
