This is a scene from the movie "Perks of being a Wallflower" known as the "tunnel scene". The use of the diegetic sound is very parallel towards the scene. The setting of the scene and the actions of the characters present to the audience a very calming sense and feeling; the music adds to it and creates a stronger feeling towards what is happening in the narrative. The dialogue of the characters show excitement and calmness in them. The girl being intrigued to know the song and wanting to stand at the back of the car to have the wind blow through her hair as it plays creates a surreal experience for the audience soothes the atmosphere especially since the song, "Heroes", is art rock which is typically soothing and relaxing to listen to.
