Sound: practical task

 


We decided to use the song "Beauty and the Beat" by Nicki Minaj and Justin Beiber as the sound track. To present the song as both parallel and contrapuntal we chose images that fit the song well; as it is typically a party sound we used videos of prom and dancing which made the sound track parallel. To make the sound track contrapuntal we used depressing images of war, Adolf Hitler and war and of sad children and animals which is completely unexpected for a song like "Beauty and the Beat"
