Ignite presentation- Learner Response

1) Type up your feedback in full including the ratings out of five for each of the categories.
  • Research:  5
  • Concept: 5
  • Language: 5
  • Representation: 4
  • Audience & Industry: 5
  • Delivery: 4
Total: 28

2) Use this feedback, comments from peers and your own reflection on your presentation to self-assess and write your own detailed WWW and EBI for your coursework concept and presentation as a whole.
www: Backstory + Narrative, Band Identity,  very good slides, images + typography, good terminology and media language, very good presentation style, very good theory, good audience, good industry.
ebi: timing/ pace, avoid full sentences,  information overload.

Peer Review
www: perfect, informative, good explanation, detailed, good concept, good knowledge, good research.
ebi: too fast, stumbled, no full sentences.

3) Write a paragraph discussing how your presentation will lead into your actual coursework production. Do you need to update your statement of intent? Does your concept offer enough clarity? Is it appropriate for the audience specified in the brief? Is it achievable to film with the resources you have available? Can you add media terminology or theory to your statement of intent now you have reflected on your presentation and seen others?
My presentation directly speaks about my plans for my entire course work, however, I made some changes that would need me to update my statement of intent slightly. I've decided to focus more in on the 'backstory' I have created for my band and have it be more of a hybridity genre pop band, where they play whatever they feel like but still fitting under 'pop'. This would be perfect for the intended audience as it satisfies both mainstream and explorers and maybe even aspirers, along with the ages. It is achievable as I have decided to make the band a more 'in touch' band, with obvious references to the fact they are associated in west london, thus making it accessible.
